Collection: SPECTRA-TEK

Spectra-Tek was a global leader in flow computing in the 1980s and 1990s. They developed several widely used flow computers, including the 869M Quantum and the Sentinel 500.

An electronic flow computer collects live uncorrected gas or liquid volume through any type of meter. It then calculates corrected volume and energy by measuring live differential pressure, live flowing pressure, live flowing temperature, and/or by counting pulses from the meter.

Spectra-Tek was purchased by Daniel Industries of Houston, TX, who in turn, was bought by Emerson Process Management, for their Flow Measurement products.
